Threads the new twitter.
Meta’s new Threads app has become the fastest-growing app of all time. This long-awaited alternative to Twitter was launched a day ahead of schedule, on Wednesday of last week. It quickly reached 30 million registrations within 24 hours of its release. Shortly afterwards, this figure rose to 50 million a few hours later, and then to 70 million in less than two days .
And now Threads has surpassed 100 million registrations, making it the fastest application to reach the 100 million member milestone.
However, even getting them to this stage is a significant first step. If we also consider that Twitter has around 250 million daily active users, the fact that Threads has gathered so much momentum so quickly suggests good potential for this app as a competing alternative to Twitter.
